My name is Janery, I’m 16 and I was born in Brooklyn, New York. My family is from the Dominican Republic. My hobbies are reading books and researching things. I enjoy taking long walks and learning new things.

One of the reasons why I decided to do Global Potential because growing up, my mom would tell me stories of how difficult life is in the Dominican Republic and to appreciate what you have. Listening to these stories inspired me to one day make a difference in the Dominican Republic and other countries. I represent the next generation of kids to be educated and to have a good environment to live in.
