Erica Montoya

Erika Montoya is a Senior News Editor with Terra USA (www.terra.com), an original digital
content producer with a primary focus on the US Hispanic experience including 29 channels in English and Spanish. Montoya covers immigration, politics and issues affecting the Hispanic community in
the United States. Prior to joining Terra, Montoya was the Founder and Editor-In-Chief
for Beluria E-Zine, covering pop culture, music festivals, avant-garde culture and art-related stories. She has been a major contributor to publications like Rolling Stone and Gatopardo. In addition she is an advocate of environmental responsibility and regularly attends seminars regarding Global Warming and is an active member the Society of Environmental Journalists. Montoya has traveled to various U.S. and international cities to cover stories and managed a team of freelance writers, photographers and graphic designers in Mexico, Colombia, Argentina and Spain. Erika began her career as a TV anchor for City TV Colombia S.A. in Bogotá. Montoya holds a Five Year Degree from Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Journalism and Communications.
