A week ago, I woke up in Managua. I remember feeling great to wake up in a city where I did not know anyone. The day before I was greeted by a wonderful woman named Dona Gladys who allowed me to stay in her wonderful home.

In my short stay in Managua, I got myself well acquainted with Dona Gladys daughters Beatriz and Hellen who both are University students at UNAN Managua. They were really different that I was. We actually watched a Celtics game together =)

I guess that we often have a fear to travel because we are going to a place that people are going to be different than us….but I guess that we all aren´t really different than one another.
